Summary

The language initiative described in this school is an eTwinning project carried out in collaboration with an Italian school. This eTwinning project took place during the school year 2006/2007 and had as its theme the exploration of the world of a teenager or in French ‘découvrir la planète des adolescents’.  It was the main winner in its category in the European eTwinning prize competition in 2007/08. The main objective of the project was to learn a foreign language, in this case French in a collaborative manner. The teachers tried to follow in each country the same pedagogic methods and thus improve the language competences of their pupils.
